Agrest moves within the discipline of Architecture, to be sure; her 'without' is internal, but silenced by the 'official' tales of Architecture. Her position is forced by these official erasures, a process which allows the erasure to become the recuperation of the erased, never entirely dismissed, completed only in and of the architectural project itself.

Architecture when, in your 'once upon a time's, you, the students of

inconvenient knowledge, might have turned to the two reflected men and said:

from each vast, collapsing heart, be sure to take meaning but never message, and live!
